A Combination Shrub Border and Vegetable Garden
This border garden fills a long narrow area between the owner’s driveway and a neighbour’s hedge. The area was weed-infested grass struggling to grow in compacted, gravelly soil. This photo shows the garden in its third season as a combined shrub border and vegetable garden. Given today’s smaller lots, this demonstrates a more efficient use of available space.
